The husband of a missing Glasgow mum has made an emotional plea for her to come home.

Hilary Woolley was last seen at her home, which Robinson Way, Burbage, at 1pm on June 27.

When her family returned to the address around 4.30pm, she was not at the property and is believed to have left on foot.

Her husband, Tim, is desperate for the 49-year-old to return to him and their two children, or to let them know she is safe.

He recorded the message with Leicestershire Police as the search entered its fifth day.

Speaking in the video, Mr Woolley said: "We just need you to know how much me and the children are missing you and are praying for you and how much we love you.

"We are desperate to have you back home again with us."

Officers believe Hilary may be in Glasgow, and prior to that she may have been in the New Street area of Birmingham on Saturday.

She is described as white, of large build, around 5ft tall, with shoulder length ginger hair.

A spokeswoman for Leicestershire Police said: "Hilary has never been missing before, as each day of no news or sightings goes by we and Hilary’s family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.

"If you can help in any way, whether you saw her a few days ago or you have any suspicions about where she may be now, then please get in touch."

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting incident 705 of June 27.
