Police have launched an appeal for information after a man required hospital treatment following reports he was struck by a bottle at a nightclub in West Dunbartonshire.
The 24-year-old was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary after suffering 'serious facial injuries' in the incident at Desire nightclub in Balloch on Sunday morning.

Officers are now keen to trace anyone who may have seen the incident and are asking those with information to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Bruce Fyfe, of Clydebank CID said: “The incident happened inside a busy nightclub with a number of people likely to have witnessed the attack."

He added: “We are appealing to anyone who may have been in the venue at the time, or anyone who may have information, to get in contact with us.”
