Celtic legend John Hartson has hailed Neil Lennon for sticking with Leigh Griffiths after the striker scored a stunning free-kick to help his team breeze past Nomme Kalju.

Griffiths bagged himself his first goal since November 2018 with a curling free-kick in first-half added time.

The forward struggled to hold back tears as he celebrated the emotional milestone in his life after a public battle with depression and other demons off the pitch.

"Credit to Lenny for trusting in him and putting him in the team.. Class".

His post racked up thousands of likes and shares and plenty of Celtic supporters were quick to add their own compliments and well-wishes for Griffiths, 28.

His former side thrashed Estonian opposition 5-0 thanks to a brace from Ryan Christie, Callum McGregor and Kristoffer Ajer strikes and Griffiths' hit.
