The Betfred Cup has already thrown up a number of shock results this season - and today was no different.
Craig Levein's Hearts were held by League One outfit East Fife on a disappointing day for the Jambos.
Jamie Walker netted his first goal in competitive action since returning from Wigan but Chris Duggan equalised in the second half.
Darren Young's men also won the bonus point with a 7-6 penalties victory.
St Johnstone also suffered frustration and are out of the cup after defeat to Forfar Athletic.
Tapping and Forbes made it 2-0 to the home side before Kennedy pulled one back to make things nervy for Jim Weir's men.
However they completed the job to win 2-1.
Meanwhile Hamilton Accies were 2-0 down to Airdrie at half-time but two penalty kicks from Ross Cunningham and a late Ogboe winner turned the game on its head.
Motherwell leathered Annan Athletic 4-0 and Livingston hammered Berwick thanks to a double from defender Ricki Lamie.
Greenock Morton notched a bonus point after a 3-3 draw in 90 minutes with Queen of the South and Ayr United drew 2-2 with Stranraer.
The visitors grabbed the extra point with a 6-5 penalty shootout win after Dan Harvie missed his spot-kick.
