St Johnstone also suffered frustration and are out of the cup after defeat to Forfar Athletic.

However they completed the job to win 2-1.

Meanwhile Hamilton Accies were 2-0 down to Airdrie at half-time but two penalty kicks from Ross Cunningham and a late Ogboe winner turned the game on its head.

Motherwell leathered Annan Athletic 4-0 and Livingston hammered Berwick thanks to a double from defender Ricki Lamie.

Greenock Morton notched a bonus point after a 3-3 draw in 90 minutes with Queen of the South and Ayr United drew 2-2 with Stranraer.

The visitors grabbed the extra point with a 6-5 penalty shootout win after Dan Harvie missed his spot-kick.
