Celtic boss Neil Lennon has revealed Kieran Tierney was welcomed back to Parkhead to bid an emotional farewell to his teammates earlier this week.
Tierney departed for Arsenal in a £25million deal on transfer deadline day.
The defender's move happened quickly on the Wednesday evening before the window slammed shut and Tierney, 22, didn't have time to say cheerio to his pals in the Hoops dressing room.

However the Celtic-daft Scotland cap wasn't content with leaving the club without saying goodbye to his friends.
And Neil Lennon explained how he got a heroes welcome - and farewell - when he showed up on Sunday.
Lenny said: "Kieran was in yesterday, he popped in, and everyone was delighted to see him.
"He got a nice farewell from the players.

"It was emotional for him, obviously, but players get on with it now.
"That's what you do, you roll on. He's going to be a big miss obviously.
"But there's an opportunity for someone else to take on the mantle now."
Tierney became the most expensive Scottish player ever when he headed for London last week.
