Celtic star Hatem Abd Elhamed has revealed he played through the pain barrier to beat Rangers - despite not training for ten days.

Hoops defender Elhamed was nursing a painful fracture when he was called upon by boss Neil Lennon to start at Ibrox.

The Israeli, 28, had a starring role in his side's 2-0 win and put in a strong showing to the delight of his manager and fans.

Posting on social media earlier this morning, Elhamed explained how it was "all about attitude".

He said: "Fracture? 10days no training? Painful? Its all about #Attitude - First #oldfirm victory for me what a feeling."

It was liked more than 6,700 times.

And fans hailed the right-back for his commitment.
