TWO Celtic FC favourites will thrill football fans with a guest appearance at a festival celebrating St Patrick's Day.
Celtic FC Foundation ambassador Jay Beatty and Hoops starlet Kieran Tierney will both make a guest appearance at the St Patrick's Day Festival in Coatbridge on Saturday.
Organisers announced on social media that Celtic superfan Jay will open the festival at 11.30am with left-back Tierney expected to join in on the festivities later on in the day.
Popular Jay, who is also involved in championing those living with Down's Syndrome, has become a favourite with Celtic supporters since he took on his role as ambassador for the Parkhead Club's official charity.
The annual event runs in the North Lanarkshire town from March 9 to 17.
Highlights include a Father Ted night with the family street festival ending the festivities on St Patrick's Day.
Coatbridge town centre is transformed for the event with two stages taking over Main Street.
One is located next to St Patrick's Church and the other is situated opposite the Buchanan Centre.
